Tips for THC

THC Tips

Some users may encounter some negative effects from consuming a high dosage of THC.

If you are ever in this situation, try one of these tips for a more enjoyable experience.

1. Recenter

Start first with hydration, then move on to mindset. We all know that it’s difficult to remain calm when you’re feeling nervous, but trying to relax and get conformable can help curb some of the negative effects that may happen if you consume a higher amount THC than you need. If possible, try to find a chill spot to elevate your feet, get cozy, and put on some of your favorite comfort music. Remind yourself that this experience is only temporary.

2. Balance

A cultivar with a high THC% can be beneficial for various reasons but if you’re like me, consuming an equal amount of CBD makes a big difference in how enjoyable the experience actually is. Ask your budtender for recommendations, or use a CBD tincture alongside your sessions.

3. Nature

Getting grounded in nature can help in a lot of ways, and a bad experience with THC is no different. It can help to immerse yourself in lush greenery and take in the terpenes of pinene. Some of the best ways to do this is with cedar, pine, fir, spruce, and juniper trees.

4. The Quick Fix

Black peppercorn can do more than flavor your food. Eating this common household spice has been said to help reduce the uneasy feelings that can come with too much THC.

Misconceptions of THC

While THC does induce euphoria, it may also have other wellness promoting capabilities as well. The entourage effect occurs when THC synergistically interacts with CBD and other herbal compounds to increase the creation of uniquely beneficial effects.
